A World to Believe In

Hey! I'm back with another song lyric. I like this song because it has a very deep meaning and I like the meaning of this song. It's Celine Dion's song. This song looks like showing us that though we've fallen for a very deep mistake there's still a hope out there. Check out!

I've seen the tears and the heartache
And I 've felt the pain
I've seen the hatred
And so many lives lost in vain

And yet through this darkness
There's always a light that shines through
And takes me back home, takes me back home

All of the promises broken
And all of the songs left unsung
Seem so far away
As I make my way back to you

You gave me faith
And you gave me a world to believe in
You gave me a love to believe in
And feeling this love
I can rise up above
And be strong, and be whole once again

I know that dreams we hold on to
Can just fade away
And I know that words can be wasted
with so much to say

And when I feel helpless
There's always a hope that shines through
And makes me believe
And makes me believe

And I see for one fleeting moment
A paradise under the sun
I drift away
And I make my way back to you

You gave me faith

And you gave me a world to believe in
You gave me a love to believe in
And feeling this love
I can rise up above
And be strong
and be whole once again

Life goes on
Can leave us with sorrow and pain
And I hold on
To all that you are
To all that we'll be
And I can go on once again

You gave me a love to believe in
You gave me a love to believe in
And feeling this love I can rise up above
And be strong
And be whole
Once again

You gave me a love to believe in
You gave me a love to believe in
And feeling this love
I can rise up above
And be strong
And be whole
Once again

'Cause your love
Heals my soul
Once again

I can live I can dream
Once again
'Cause you made me believe

Charles Darwin's Evolution Theory

Hi, bloggers! I'm back with a revolution theory by Charles Darwin. I believe that you must have known what's Darwin's revolution theory. I am now talking about this because it's a subject which is being discussed at school nowadays. My history teacher doesn't seem to agree this theory because this theory tells us that humans were monkey. He doesn't agree because he said that humans were humans, are humans, and will always be humans. He believes that God creates humans as humans and not as monkey that became human because of evolution.
About my personal opinion, I don't mind whether humans' ancestors were monkey or not, it's a knowledge that we have to appreciate. Some or maybe most or maybe all of my friends don't also seem agree with it. Maybe it's because they think being the great great great great grandchildren of monkeys seems embarrassing. But once again, I somehow feel okay with it.
So what do you think? Do you agree with it?

Time Goes Soooooo Fast

Hello, bloggers! How are you doing? Wish you have good times. It seems that I haven't written anything in my blog for months. I've been so busy of many things last months. I don't know why, maybe it's because I'm in senior high now. Things in senior high are just so difficult. I didn't thought that it's gonna be this difficult, but then things start to go badly and I started to realize, "Gosh... Things are getting difficult now!"
It doesn't mean that I can't get along well with my friends, indeed I've got along sooooo well. What's so difficult now is the lessons. I think my problem is I seldom take things seriously (means I kinda underestimate things) and that has made my days (especially my marks!!) in senior high go so bad. I'm terribly disappointed of my own marks. I think I didn't study well and I didn't do everything maximally. I'm now recovering from my bad habit, underestimating things. I wish I could start facing every single thing seriously.

I'll Wait for You

Hey, bloggers! I'm so excited this time because I could write another amazing song on my blog. Couple weeks ago, I found something interesting on web. Well, I know it's actually an old song, but somehow I like it because it's sooooo touching. The title of the song is I'll Wait for You by Joe Nichols. Here's the lyrics

Snows in Montana was three feet high
Lady at the counter said, "There ain't no flight"
And so he called her on the telephone
He said I'll rent a car and I'll drive home

She said, "I'll wait for you like I did last year
at Christmas time with your family here
when your truck broke down out in San Antone
and the gifts stayed wrapped till you got home
oo.. this ain't nothing new
Sweetheart, I'll wait for you"

And he's on the cellphone in a Coupe Deville
Talking to the one he loves and always will
His heart is breaking 'cos she's there alone
Her heart is aching 'cos she wants him home

She said, "I'll wait for you like in '68
when our child was due, but I said he'll have to wait
until his dad gets here and stands by my side
remember, dear, our son's first cry
oo.. this ain't nothing new
Sweetheart, I'll wait for you"

He didn't stop all day to eat a bite
And he finally got there around midnight
Doctor said she's in a better place
She said to give you this note just in case

It said, "I'll wait for you at heaven's gate
Oo.. i don't care, how long it takes
And I'll tell St. Pete I can't come in
without my love and my bestfriend
Oo.. this ain't nothing new
Sweetheart, I'll wait for you
P.S. I love you too
Sweetheart, I'll wait for you

Gosh.. it really is an amazing song. I always cry when I watch the video. Here's the link for the video, you'll really have to watch it!

Hope you do enjoy this posting! =)

Days in Senior High

Wow! I've been in senior high for around 2 months. I'm so excited because I could join many new activities in senior high, such as addition lesson especially in physics (I'm so excited about physics), choir, playing violin, etc. Actually I've played violin since I was in junior high, but somehow I feel some differences about playing violin in junior high and senior high. Different teacher, different tastes. My teacher in senior high has a very high taste of music, he loves music very very much. I also am so proud because I have such teacher who is capable to play many kinds of instruments and who is capable in arranging choir. And also I'm so excited because I can play with some talented friends. I hope we'll get other chances to play together again.

I Win It!!!

Well, where should I start? Hmm..... I think I should start from the activities I'd done during my holidays. Actually, I spent my holidays by having fun mostly, like watching movies, TV shows, reading novels, playing video games, and other things. But around a month ago, my English course teacher asked me to join a speech competition for celebrating Bung Karno month and I decided to join it because I thought what will I do at home? I might get better activities by joining this competition. So I started to find a title, the theme of the competition is "Winning Generation". I finally chose to use "Caring" as my title because nowadays we can find many people who don't wanna care about their surroundings or to other people. Care isn't always purposed to other people, but also purposed to other creature, like the trees or the environment.
Around 3 or 4 weeks later I'd finished my speech text and I was satisfied with the speech I made, so I started presenting the speech. At first I wasn't confident enough to do it because I'm sure the other contestants will present their speech much better than I do, but I tried to push myself to always train myself in front of the mirror, until the execution day came up.
The execution day was yesterday. There were many contestants from various schools. Some of them present their speech well. The contestants could choose the number for themselves freely, so I chose 12 because it's the same as my birth date, but actually I was the 2nd contestant who present my speech because the least number that was chosen by a contestant was 9. There were 3 juries, two of them are Australians and the other one is Indonesian but she has lbeen living in Australia for years. Actually it was pretty creepy to know that the juries were from Australia, I was afraid if I didn't pronounce the sentences well because they would easily know it if I made mistakes!
When it was my time to present mine I was so worried of the juries and the audiences, I was so afraid if I passed the time that had been determined by the juries, it's 5 minutes to present our speech. If we presented the speech more than 5 minutes, the juries will decrease the points we gained. But the show must go on, so I presented my speech in less than 5 minutes.
At the time I finished my speech, honestly, I felt confused about what had just I done at the stage. It's like I didn't remember all sentences I'd presented at the stage. Well, at least I had no longer burden on my shoulder because my time was done.
Around 1 or 2 hours later the juries announced the winner. I was so worried about the result, but however, I had to receive the result. I was sure that the other contestants would win it because some of them presented their speech so well. And guess what? I was terribly surprised when the juries said that I got the 1st rank! I really couldn't believe it!!! I was sooooo excited to know that I could win it!!! The last thing I could say was "thank you very much" to the juries and also to Jesus who had guided me till the end of my speech so I could do it so well.
Well, as I've said I'm so excited and satisfied, but I'm sure there still any other persons out there who are much better than me, so all I can do for now is just learning and learning so I'll be able to get new things that would improve my ability in speaking English. =)

Memories

Some days ago, I got a message from my friend, she sent me about the memories of her, me, and other friends about my school. Well, firstly you have to know that actually I've been graduated from my school and I'm going to senior high school next month. I really had great times at my junior high school and I also have my own memories about it.
Well, let's start from the first time when I step my feet to my junior high school. You know, I was so happy when I know that I could study in SMPN 1 Blitar (the name of my junior high school). I can't explain to you how happy I was, but the certain thing was I was sooooooo happy, because it's one of the favorite school in my town. I also didn't expect that I could study there because I was from a private elementary school where maybe most people think that the elementary school wasn't so good and I wasn't so smart either I guess. And of course, mom and dad were so proud of me, moreover I was in the first international class.
I also had so many great friends. I was so afraid at first actually if I couldn't have many friends especially because it's my first experience to study in public school. But I did it pretty well, I got many new amazing friends here. I learned many things from them. I really enjoy my time with them.
This school has really change me to be a better girl. I got my spirit to do my best here, I learned how differences are so amazing, I learned how to treat other people well, I grew to be a mature girl here, I got so many problems where I had to solve them by myself and finally I got new lessons from them or when I'd been so helpless my friends always came along to help me solving my problems, I share many things with my friends, and other sweet things.
Actually, I'm so grateful because I can go to senior high school, especially because I can study in a good high school again, but somehow I still miss SMPN 1 Blitar. The teachers are kind (not all of them honestly) and they had given me and my friends new lessons to be a better person to build this country. I'm not gonna forget what have they done for me. It's so amazing because I could meet such great person.
I know it's not a kinda farewell because I can still visit SMPN 1 Blitar whenever I want, but still I feel a bit sad to leave this school. but my life must go on, so all I can do now is just remembering my sweet and bitter memories from my junior high school then make it a lesson for me to always do the best in the following times. =D
